Ira is General Counsel at Aftershock Services, Inc. She leads legal affairs of the company and advises on strategic business development, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property matters, product development, regulatory compliance, and marketing, distribution and publishing initiatives.

Prior to her role at Aftershock, Ira served as General Counsel at Kabam, Inc. During her time at Kabam, she led negotiations on multiple strategic transactions, including licenses for games based on the Hollywood franchises of Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers and Avatar. She oversaw the acquisition of TapZen and Magic Pixel Games and facilitated strategic international transactions relating to publishing and distribution deals, in and out-bound licenses and portfolio divestitures.

Ira previously worked at Sony PlayStation, where she oversaw the company’s marketing campaigns, advised on intellectual property matters and game clearance, and partnered with business leaders to support the PlayStation family of products. Her role included oversight of the launch of the PlayStation 4 console and oversight on major marketing and distribution activities relating to its worldwide release. Prior to joining PlayStation, Ira served as Assistant General Counsel at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., where she oversaw corporate governance, public company reporting and regulatory affairs, and oversaw marketing and ecommerce matters. She also created customer and data privacy strategies for Williams-Sonoma's portfolio of brands.

Ira began her legal practice at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, representing a broad range of companies, from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations, in various transactions including financings, mergers and acquisitions and business development. She received her law degree from New York University School of Law and B.A. with highest honors from the University of California at Berkeley.
